Configuring Response Group to forward to External PSTN telephone number(Potential failers)

When you enable a response group’s queue for “Enable Queue Time-Out” and set the call action to “Forward to telephone number”


If this transfer fails to complete via a “Call was not completed or has ended” error via the Lync client or you just get disconnected when calling from a cell phone – ensure that you have a CSDialPlan and CSVoicePolicy assigned to the response group.





Simply,  assign a valid Dial Plan and voice Policy do the response group/workflow SIP address.

Grant-CSDialPlan –Identity “” -PolicyName “EMEA_XXXX”
Grant-CSVoicePolicy –Identity “” -PolicyName “EMEA_XXXX-International”
